country Championship, leading Luther to its third team title in
four years, and was named Most Valuable Runner. She finished in
a time of 23:05, six seconds ahead of runner-up Jill Wagaman of
Wartburg, to earn her second straight top-four finish.

Wagaman, a senior, finished third in the Maroon Division
II race at the University of Minnesota’s Roy Griak Invitational.
She ran the 6,000-meter course in 23-minutes flat, finishing 24
seconds behind the winner, Genevieve Binsfield of Division II Minot
State in the 278 runner field. The finish was her third top-five
finish of the season and led Wartburg to a 10th-place team finish
in the 29 team field. |

Corken, a sophomore, finished second in the college
division of the National Catholic Invitational hosted by the University
of Notre Dame, leading Loras to a second-place team finish behind
Bellarmine University, the 15th-ranked team in Division II. She
finished the 5,000-meter race in 19:32, 30th overall in the 267
runner field.

Wagaman, a senior, finished second in the 134-runner
Les Duke Invitational hosted by Grinnell College. She finished the
6,000-meter race in a career-best time of 22:31, 11 seconds behind
winner Sarah Spencer of Grinnell. Wagaman’s time is the third
fastest 6K time in school history and led the Knights to a second-place
finish in the nine team meet with 54 points. |

Berry, a freshman, won her first collegiate race,
the Central Dutch Invitational. She completed the 5,000-meter course
in 19:32, crossing the finish line two seconds ahead of the second-place
runner, teammate Jessica Clark. The Dutch won its own meet with
27 points in the nine-team, 86-runner event. |
