MOUNT VERNON, IOWA . . . The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championship will be help Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, at Ash Park on the campus of Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Events on Friday will get underway at 1:00 pm and on Saturday at 10:00 am.

The first annual IIAC decathlon and heptathlon were held last weekend, May 2-3, at Luther College. The results for the decathlon and heptathlon are available by clicking the event.

Outdoor track and field counts 70 percent towards the track and field points awarded for the Elmer Hertel Men’s Sports Championship Trophy and Marjorie Giles Women’s Sports Championship Trophy. Indoor track and field accounted for 30 percent.
