FOUR NAMED TO NSCAA ALL-CENTRAL REGION WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM

MOUNT VERNON, IOWA . . . The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) announced today that four of the Conference’s women’s soccer players were named to the 2002 Adidas/National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Central Region Team.

Cornell College senior goaltender Katie Boyle (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain HS), the 2002 IIAC Most Valuable Player, Loras College freshman defender Fae Carroll (Rochester, Minn./Lourdes HS), Loras College sophomore forward Michelle Wieser (Dubuque, Iowa/Senior HS) and Luther College sophomore forward Katie Pettigrew (Farmington, N.M./Farmington HS) were all named to the All-Region Third Team. All four individuals were named to the IIAC All-Conference First Team in November.
