CORNELL AND LORAS WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAMS RECOGNIZED FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA . . . The Cornell and Loras colleges women’s soccer teams were among 318 intercollegiate soccer programs honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2004-05 school year.

To be eligible for the NSCAA Team Academic Award, a team’s cumulative grade point average must be 3.0 or higher. Loras had a team GPA of 3.30 and Cornell had a team GPA of 3.26. It is Cornell’s fourth straight year receiving the NSCAA Team Academic Award and Loras’ third straight year.
