COE'S LEONARD NAMED TO NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

CEDAR RAPIDS , IOWA . . . Freshman infielder Ashley Leonard (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy H.S.) has been named to the all-tournament team from the NCAA Division III Women’s Softball World Series.

Leonard led the Kohawks in hits and ranked third in the conference with 57 hits on the season. Leonard also led the team in batting average, hitting .354 on the season. She was named to the second team All-Iowa Conference team and third team All-Midwest Region team.

During the World Series, she hit .333 going 3-9 at the plate. She knocked in two runs and scored one herself with a solo home run against Linfield.
