WARTBURG'S WOMEN'S GOLF TEAM HONORED BY NGCA FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

WAVERLY, IOWA . . . Wartburg College’s 2005-06 women’s golf squad was ranked No. 7 on a list of the top 25 team grade-point averages among all divisions in a release by the National Golf Coaches Association July 10.

The Knights, 2005 Iowa Conference champions and fourth-place finishers at the 2006 NCAA Division III national championships, compiled a 3.602 team GPA. Their standing was the third highest among all Division III institutions.
