GWEN VAN GERPEN RESIGNS AS LUTHER VOLLEYBALL COACH

CEDAR RAPIDS , IOWA . . . Gwen Van Gerpen, Luther College women’s volleyball coach, has announced her resignation. She has served as the head volleyball coach since 2004. A search for her replacement will begin immediately.

Van Gerpen, a four year-letter winner for the Norse, joined the Luther staff following three successful seasons as head volleyball coach at Belmond-Klemme High School. During her tenure she led the Broncos to a record of 40-25 and one state regional appearance.

“We appreciate the dedication and service Gwen has provided to Luther College, the athletic department and the student-athletes these past three years,” stated Joe Thompson Director of Athletics. “We wish Gwen and her family all the best in their future endeavors.”
