BRAD HOFER NAMED SIMPSON CROSS COUNTRY COACH

INDIANOLA, IOWA . . . Simpson Athletic Director John Sirianni has promoted Brad Hofer to head men’s and women’s cross country coach. Hofer had served as the interim head cross country coach since December when Todd Deely who has resigned.

Hofer completed his third season as a member of the Simpson staff this past Fall. Hofer is in his fifth season as an assistant men’s and women’s track and field coach for the Storm.

Hofer earned All-American honors on three occasions in the distance medley and 4x400m relay for Wartburg College. He was a multi-time national qualifier in cross country and on Wartburg’s 4x400m relay team. He also qualified for outdoor national meet in the 800m as a junior for the Knights.

Hofer owns his own business, Hofer Fitness Training and Consulting which based out of Acceleration Iowa in Urbandale. He is single and resides in West Des Moines, Iowa.
