PELLA, IOWA . . . Jodee Schaben has returned to the position of head women’s golf coach at Central College.

Schaben served as head coach for four seasons before being named an assistant professor of exercise science on the Central faculty last fall. She came back for a fifth season last fall as interim head coach and has elected to return as full-time head coach while serving as a part-time exercise science instructor.

“I want to come back as head coach because this is my passion,” Schaben said. “I think this program has so much potential and I’m really excited about this team and the opportunities we have next season.”

A Univ. of Wis.-Stevens Point graduate, Schaben was a four-year golf letterwinner and captain. She is also an experienced golf instructor and camp clinician. Schaben earned master’s and doctoral degrees at Iowa State University.
