SIMPSON NAMES LINDSEY CHASE
WOMEN'S TENNIS COACH

April 25, 2008

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA . . . Simpson College Athletic Director John Sirianni has announced the hiring of Lindsay Chase as Head Women's Tennis Coach for the Storm. Chase replaces Bob Nutgrass who will remain on staff in an adminstrative role.

Chase served as an assistant women's tennis coach for Simpson from 2005-06. An Indianola, Iowa native, Chase earned All-Conference honors at No. 4 singles in 2002 for Coe College. She was also named Academic All-Conference for the Kohawks. Chase later earned All-Conference, ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American, and NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors for Coe in softball.

"We are excited to have Lindsay join our staff as the new head women's tennis coach. Her Division III experience and competiveness will bring enthusiasm and energy to our program. We are glad to have her join us at Simpson," Sirianni said.
