DANIEL FINN NAMED SIMPSON MEN'S TENNIS COACH

INDIANOLA, IOWA . . . Simpson College Athletic Director John Sirianni has named Daniel Finn Head Men’s Tennis Coach at Simpson. Finn comes to the Storm from Lindsay Wilson College (Ky.) where he was a student assistant coach for the 2007-08 season. He was involved with all the day-to-day operations for the men’s and women’s tennis teams at Lindsay Wilson.

The Blue Raiders’ women’s team appeared in the 2008 NAIA National Championship semifinals. Both Lindsay Wilson teams won the 2008 NAIA Region XI Championship. Lindsay Wilson won Mid South Conference Championships in 2008.

As a player for Lindsay Wilson, Finn was a member of four Mid South Conference Championships. The 2005 Blue Raiders’ team made it to the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament after earning NAIA Region XI honors.
