SIX IIAC SOCCER SIDES
EARN NSCAA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

December 3, 2007

CEDAR RAPIDS , IOWA . . . A total of six Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) soccer teams (4 women, 2 men) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2006-07 academic year.

Coe College and Luther College had both their men's and women's teams honored, while women's teams from Loras College and Wartburg College were also recognized. The Coe women (3.42 GPA) posted the highest team grade point average of the six IIAC squads honored, followed by the Luther women (3.41 GPA), Wartburg women (3.26 GPA), Loras women (3.25 GPA), Luther men (3.18 GPA), and Coe men (3.10 GPA).
