STORM LAKE, IOWA . . . Buena Vista senior guard Margo Muhlbauer (Manilla, Iowa/IKM) has earned additional honors for her efforts over the past week by being named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware, announced early Wednesday morning.

Muhlbauer finished the week averaging better than 26 points and four rebounds during the team's first three games this season, including a season-best 29 points in the opener against Martin Luther and 28 points and five boards in a win over NCAA Division II Bemidji State on Saturday.  BVU went 3-0 during the stretch, marking the program's best overall start to a season in 20 years.

Earlier in the week, Muhlbauer was named the Iowa Conference Female Athlete of the Week.  This marks the second time in her career she's earned a spot on the national Team of the Week.
