NORMAN, OKLA. . . . Luther College and Wartburg College are among 113 schools honored with All-Academic Team recognition by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Monday. Schools receiving All-Academic Team recognition submitted team GPAs of 3.00 or higher.

DePaul (Division I), Maryville (Division II), Carnegie Mellon (Division III), Ohio Dominican (NAIA), Frank Phillips (NJCAA DI) and South Mountain (NJCAA DII) have been named Academic National Champions for their respective divisions announced the GCAA. DePaul posted the highest recorded team GPA with 3.66.

Albion, Brown, Butler, Carnegie Mellon, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Duke, East Tennessee State, Gonzaga, Mercer, Ohio Dominican, Puget Sound, Seton Hall and Wofford were also accorded President’s Special Recognition status for earning team GPAs of 3.50 or better.

To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college of university must submit the grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
