Maria Oliver, Simpson College, Florissant, Mo./Hazelwood Central
Oliver, a senior center, averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 1 assist in two games last week en route to the Iowa Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship. Oliver hit 8 of 12 shots for 19 points in a semifinal win over Buena Vista Feb. 26 and scored 11 points, pulled down nine rebounds, and blocked six shots in a win over Wartburg Feb. 28.

Whitney Franker, Simpson College, Urbandale, Iowa/Urbandale
Franker, a senior forward, averaged 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.5 steals in two wins last week as the Storm closed out the regular season. Franker hit seven of 10 shots from the field during the week, including both 3-pointers she attempted. She was also 10-of-16 from the charity stripe. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)

Lindsay Bava, Loras College, Downers Grove, Ill./Montini Catholic
Bava, a junior guard, became the eighth player in Loras women’s college basketball history to eclipse 1,000 career points with a career-high 32 points in a key league win over Buena Vista Feb. 14. She hit 8 of 14 shots from the field and was 11-of-12 at the line against the Beavers. Bava also scored 14 points in a loss at Cornell earlier in the week.

Brittany Norris, Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson
Norris, a sophomore center, led the Kohawks in scoring in two games during the week. She scored in double-figures for the 19th time, tallying 20 or more points for the third time this season with a 21-point outing against Luther Feb. 7. Norris also moved into seventh place on Coe’s single-season scoring chart with three games remaining. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)

Megan Carman, Central College, Newton, Iowa/Newton
Carman, a senior guard, hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer in a 76-75 Dutch win over Buena Vista Jan. 31, giving Central its first season sweep of Buena Vista since the 1993-94 season. In addition to hitting the game-winner, Carman scored Central’s final eight points in the last 1:38 in helping come back from 10-point deficit. She finished the game with a career-high 18 points. Margo Muhlbauer, Buena Vista University, Manilla, Iowa/IKM
Muhlbauer, a junior guard, turned in a combined 70 points in three BVU wins last week, including a season-high 28 in a 93-90 win over No. 7/9 Simpson Jan. 24. She also connected on 55.3 percent of her field goal attempts. Muhlbauer has now scored 25 points or more in four of her last six games.

Bava, a junior guard, tied a career-high with 30 points in a 63-58 win over Cornell Jan. 14. She was 10-of-12 from the field against the Rams, including a perfect 5-of-5 from behind the 3-point line. Bava also scored 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting in a 77-75 win at Buena Vista Jan. 17. For the week, Bava shot 64.0 percent (16-of-25) from the field and 72.7 percent (8-of-11) from behind the arc, pulled down 10 rebounds, made six assists and five steals. Katie Zittergruen, Wartburg College, Van Horne, Iowa/Benton Community
Zittergruen, a sophomore forward, scored 10 points in a home win over Central Jan. 7 and tied a single-game career high in scoring with 15 points off the bench in a come-from-behind win at Coe Jan. 10. She led the Knights in steals last week with five and posted the top effort at the free throw line with a 11-for-14 effort. Wartburg is 7-1 over its last eight games and is one of two remaining unbeaten teams in league play. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)

Sarah Anciaux, Coe College, Iowa City, Iowa/Iowa City
Anciaux, a sophomore guard, fell just short of her first career triple-double as she finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists in the win over Saint Mary’s (Minn.). Paired with 15 points in a league win over Luther Jan. 3, she has scored in double-figures in each of the Kohawks’ past three wins. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)

Sharese Van Sloten, Wartburg College, Decorah, Iowa/Decorah
Van Sloten, a senior center, tied the single-game school record for points (37) and set the single-game record for field goals (15) in an 89-80 overtime win at St. Ambrose Dec. 19. She came back with a team-high 18 points and seven rebounds as the Knights defeated previously-unbeaten Gustavus Adolphus Dec. 21. She went over the 500 career rebound mark with seven against Gustavus Adolphus. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)

Kristin Paczosa, Cornell College, Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove
Paczosa, a junior forward, grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds, which tied Cornell’s fourth-best single-game total, in a loss to sixth-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater. She followed that up by tying her career high in scoring with 19 points against Grinnell. During the week, the averaged 14.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. She also shot 84.2 percent (16-for-19) from the free throw line. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)

Franker, a senior forward, averaged 14 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 4.0 steals in a pair of wins during the week as the Storm opened the IIAC slate with a 2-0 mark. She scored only 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds, but notched seven steals in a win over Buena Vista Dec. 3. Against Cornell Dec. 6, Franker scored 17 points, including a perfect 4-for-4 behind the three-point arc, and pulled down seven rebounds.

Margo Muhlbauer, Buena Vista University, Manilla, Iowa/IKM
Muhlbauer, a junior guard, became the 15th player in BVU women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points as she did so with her fourth point against UW-Platteville Nov. 29. She finished that contest with a game-high 20 points, while matching a season-high in rebounds with seven. Muhlbauer finished the week averaging 16.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in three games. Bava, a junior guard, averaged 21.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game as the Duhawks posted a 2-1 mark last week. She shot 44.7 percent (21-47) from the field, 36.8 percent (7-19) from the 3-point line, and 84.2 percent (16-19) from the free-throw line while grabbing 17 rebounds. She scored a season-high 25 points against Augustana (Ill.)
