October 17 | Missy Buttry, Wartburg, Sr. | Won the Tori Neubauer Invitational at the
University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Finished the 6,000-meter race in 20:03.9,
2:17 ahead of her closest competitor in the 237-runner race. |
October 10 | Bethany Schiefelbein, Luther, Sr. | Won the Dan Huston Invitational 6K race in a time
of 23:10. Finished five seconds ahead of the runner-up in the 142-runner
race. Luther won the 6K team title with by 33 points with a team score
of 43. |
October 3 | Beth Cunningham, Central, Sr. | Finished seventh of 381 runners at the Loyola (Ill.)
Lakefront Invitational in a time of 18:43. Finished 33 seconds behind
the winner and was third among NCAA Division III runners. |
September 26 | Beth Cunningham, Central, Sr. | Finished fourth at the Augustana (Ill.) Brissman-Lundeen
Invitational, third among collegiate runners. She finished in a 6000-meter
career-best time of 21:53, three seconds behind the winner of the 350-runner
race. |
September 19 | Missy Buttry, Wartburg, Sr. | Set a course record en route to a victory in the
Woody Greeno Invitational with a time of 20:38 and won the 246-runner
College Division (NCAA Division II, III, NAIA) race by 64 seconds. Her
time bested the 51-runner University Division (NCAA Division I) by 74
seconds. |
September 12 | Bethany Schiefelbein, Luther, Sr. | Finished fourth in the 127-runner Luther All-American.
Ran the 5,000-meter race in 19:10, finishing 43 seconds behind the winner
to lead the Norse to a second-place team finish. |
September 5 | Natalie Retrum, Luther, Sr. | Won the St. Mary’s (Minn.) Invitational running
a time of 20:06. Beat teammate Bethany Shiefelbein by six seconds in
the 126-runner meet which the Norse won with 27 points. |
