Oct. 8
Jennifer Stork, Buena Vista University, Lidderdale, Iowa/Kuemper
Stork, a senior, shot a 77-78-155 over the final two rounds of the Iowa Conference Championship to earn Medalist and Player of the Year honors. She posted two of the Tournaments three final weekend sub-80 rounds and finished with an IIAC 72-hole Championship record 306 (75-76-77-78) to win by nine strokes.

Andrea Schiltz, Wartburg College, Algona, Iowa/Bishop Garrigan
Schiltz, a senior, holds a four stroke lead after the first 36-holes of the Iowa Conference women’s golf Championship. She tied her own Conference record with a 72 in the opening round and followed that with a 75 for a 147 heading into next weekends final two rounds. Her 147 is the lowest mid-point score since the IIAC went to a 72-hole Championship in 2003. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
Sept. 24
Megan Cress, Wartburg College, Center Point, Iowa/Center Point-Urbana
Cress, a senior, shot an 81 at the rain-shortened D-III Midwest Classic hosted by Carleton College, to finish second in the 75-golfer Tournament, four strokes behind Medalist Breanne Staples of Gustavus Adolphus. Cress led Wartburg to a second-place team finish (335), one stroke behind defending national runner-up Gustavus Adolphus.
Sept. 17
Megan Smith, Simpson College, Eagle Grove, Iowa/Eagle Grove
Smith, a freshman, had two top-10 finishes during the week. She tied for second (of 82 golfers) at the Luther Invitational with a 7-over-par 79, two strokes behind Medalist Laura Klatt of St. Thomas (Minn.) and tied for ninth (of 70 golfers) at the Loras Invitational with an 86.
Sept. 10
Lindsay Thies, Luther College, Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna
Thies, a sophomore, won the Wartburg Invitational with a 1-over-par 73, one stroke better than the rest of the 93-golfer field. The Norse finished second in the 16-team Invitational with a 324.
Sept. 3
Kate Thompson, Wartburg College, Webster City, Iowa/Webster City
Thompson, a sophomore, finished in a fifth-place tie at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Invitational with a 36-hole score of 158 (76-82), six strokes behind the co-medalists, Rachel Roberg of Gustavus Adolphus and Meghan Sobotta of UW-Eau Claire. Thompson was the top Iowa Conference finisher among the 30 Conference golfers from five Conference schools in the event. She led Wartburg to a fifth-place team finish.
