2002 NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference sent 34 wrestlers, representing eight schools, to the NCAA National Championships on March 1-2, in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  A Conference record 24 wrestlers earned All-American honors, awarded to those finishing in the top eight of each weight class.  Four IIAC schools finished in the top 10 and six finished in the top 25 led by Upper Iowa and Wartburg, which finished tied for second.
