BUENA VISTA'S MUHLBAUER NAMED
TO D3HOOPS.COM ALL-AMERICA THIRD TEAM
CENTRAL'S LEY RECEIVES HONORABLE MENTION

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA . . .Two Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) basketball players were recognized as D3hoops.com unveiled its All-America teams for the 2009-10 season. Buena Vista senior guard Margo Muhlbauer was named to the women's Third Team, while Central senior guard Miguel Ley was an honorable mention pick to the men's team.

Muhlbauer, the 2009-10 Iowa Conference Women's MVP, led the league in scoring for the fourth consecutive season (21.4 points per game) and became the fourth player in IIAC women's basketball history to surpass 2,000 career points. The two-time Jostens Trophy finalist is the third Buena Vista women's basketball player to be recognized by the online publication after Amy Meggers (Fourth Team, 2004) and Katie Maguire (Third Team, 2006).

Ley, the 2009-10 Iowa Conference Men's MVP, ranked in the top-5 in the Iowa Conference in scoring (17.6 ppg), assists (4.44 apg), and steals (1.63 spg) while leading the Dutch to their first IIAC men's basketball title since 1995. He is the first Central men's player to be recognized by D3hoops.com
