RAPIDS, IOWA . . . Thirty-four Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference (IIAC) student-athletes were recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches
Association (USTFCCCA) as the organization released its 2010 Division III Track & Field All-Academic
teams.
To
qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors,
the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point
average of 3.30 and have met the NCAA Division III Indoor or
Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their
respective event.
A
total of 202 male student-athletes representing 74 institutions and 330 female student-athletes representing 99 institutions make up the 2010 All-Academic team. The University of Wisconsin, La Crosse led all institutions with ten men's honorees, while Wartburg College led all institutions with 12 women's honorees.
