DUBUQUE, IOWA . . .Loras College Director of Athletics Bob Quinn announced Monday the hiring of Jim Davison as the new head coach of the men's and women's golf teams. Davison replaces Denise Udelhofen, who was recently promoted to Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator. "I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity and I'm very thankful to Denise and (Director of Athletics) Bob Quinn," Davison said Monday.
"Denise has done a tremendous job in building these golf programs, and I can only hope to build on the foundation that she has set," Davison continued.

Davison has spent time at Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa, Inverness Golf Club in Palatine, Illinois, Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, and most recently he was the Director of Golf at Forest Highlands Golf Club in Flagstaff, Arizona. In the spring of 2009, Davison was the head boys' golf coach at Cuba City High School in Cuba City, Wisconsin.
